A JLT solution for your 2015-2020 5.0L F-150
After all of the success of our kits for the 5.0 powered Mustangs we decided to attack the pickup truck market with the same logic. Make a system that's bigger and badder then any other current system available.
JLT's 2015-2019 F-150 5.0L Cold Air Intake is fully computer designed to optimize space and for best fit and finish. Large 4.5" filter inlet with radius-ed end for smooth air flow to the throttle body
Tube measures 4" at the throttle body side in preparation for larger after market throttle bodies.
Retains the bottom half of the stock air box, maintains fresh air feed by doing this! We include a new top half to accept our large filter and tube.
We use only the best air filters made by S&B to our specifications. We love S&B's tapered flange design and Powerstack filtered ends. With a huge 4.5” opening on the tube we needed a huge filter. The result is a monster 4.5x6” filter.
This intake system is NO TUNE REQUIRED.
In our testing we have found gains to be a consistent 10-15RWHP peak, with even more under the curve. See the dyno video below.
The design, detailed instructions and online video (see below) helps make this an easy install (see Instructions & Video tab to download / view).
• JLT Black Textured Intake Tube
• 90 degree Rubber Reducer
• 4.5x6" S&B Powerstack Air Filter
• Heat Shield
• HD Clamps & all needed hardware
To properly clean your oil filter, we recommend the S&B Precision II Cleaning & Oiling Kit.
*TIP* by purchasing a 2nd air filter you can simply swap filters when it's time to clean it and not be rushed. Clean the first filter and it's ready when it's time to change again.
JLT Pre-Filters are now available for most intake kits we carry, these filters are made for us by Outerwears, these prefilters are water repellent. They will increase your filter life and cut down on your cleaning intervals! For more information check the product page here JLT Air Filter PRE FILTER

Usually I don’t write reviews but I felt I needed to jump on here for all the possible future customers that might be trying to decide which cold air intake to buy. Usually I always run K&N due to it has been a house hold name in my family for ever, but I actually did my research for my f-150 5.0 and I looked into JLT. I will not try to get you to pick JLT over anything else but I will tell you why I decided to got JLT. First is that the materials that they use in my opinion is the least likely to heat soak. Second the construction is in my opinion the best/ thought out/ most impressive T&E that I have seen out of all the heavy hitters in the market. Third is the price, it is middle of the pack which is great! And finally it’s a local run business and is the only company that shows actual dyno tests.
Now for the installation. I personally was surprisingly impressed with the throaty deep rumble from under the hood that even trumps the exhaust of my borla s type when I get on it hard. Now the only downfall that I have noticed is that their is a reasonably large gap space around the intake tube and the intake box itself. But wasn’t anything that a random length of tubing with a slice down the side to create a WAY better seal can’t fix. Most of the other heavy hitters have the same gap by the way.
Could use a grommet seal around intake pipe to air box.
Definitely gives the coyote a growl. A bit of increased power but mostly noise and hopefully fuel economy.
So far it’s been great I actually increased my mpg by about 1.5-2 miles and the sound difference from inside the cab is noticeably louder and the rumble it makes from 3k-5k is huge. Exhaust sound is minor just a bit deeper but that’s why you have to get and exhaust. Any way very pleased with how it looks, sound, mpg, and installation was a breeze.
Highly recommend the product
They never disappoint this they're products! Quality and craftsmanship are in ever product line they produce!
INSTALLED YOUR COLD INTAKE KIT ON MY 2018 5.0 F150. EASY INSTALLATION . HARDEST PART WAS GETTING THE FACTORY CONNECTORS UNHOOKED. DID HAVE TO SHORTEN THE SMALL RUBBER EXTENSION HOSE ON THE VACUUM CONNECTION ON THE INTAKE TUBE BY 1/2 AN INCH. WAS PUTTING THE FACTORY VACUUM HOSES IN A BIND. SOUNDS GOOD AND SHOULD BREATHE A LOT BETTER. PLAN ON GETTING YOUR OIL CATCH CAN KIT IN THE NEAR FUTURE . AND A BORLA CATBACK EXHAUST SYSTEM DOWN THE ROAD.
Received my CIA yesterday and had it on in 10 min easiest intake I've ever put on looks good, performs good, and sounds killer! 10/10 would highly recommend
Got my HydroCarbon painted CAI today & it looks AWESOME!
Installed on a 2015 F!50 Lariat Supercab 4x4 w/ 3.31 rear & stock exhaust.
No Tuner or Programmer just factory stock program.
This JLT CAI seems to have woken up a few more ponies in the 5.0L.
Getting on the freeway I went from rolling to get-gone (85++) in a heartbeat. My "Butt-Dyno" sensed the power difference right away.
fyi-Will have to adjust my throttle tip-in as it's way too sensitive, But it was w/ stock system too.
Too early to predict effect on MPG's but I saw no drop in the 11-13 miles I rolled in "drive-it-like-you-stole-it" mode.
Two thumbs up on this product & it was worth the wait for the custom HydroCarbon paint scheme..
